As a member of the Facilities Operation, and under the direction of the Supervisor of Life Safety Inspection & Testing, and working collaboratively with other University departments, the Site Protection Technician is responsible for the comprehensive inspection, testing, and related repairs to the University’s Life Safety System, including but not limited to fire, sprinkler, standpipe systems, fire pumps, and emergency broadcast towers, kitchen hood systems, special hazard systems, and fire extinguishers. The technician will assume responsibility for all the documentation related to these inspections.

The Arborist I will be working with a crew leader, other arborists and helpers, has an in-depth knowledge and understanding of a wide range of diverse trees and plants, including specimen materials, and has a primary responsibility for assuring the well-being of these university trees. The Senior Maintenance Mechanic is a member of the Facilities Operations, and is a multi-trade position performing work tasks including, but not limited to electrical, HVAC, plumbing, pipefitting, painting, and carpentry work. The HVAC Controls Mechanic (In Training) performs tasks in support of a wide variety of HVAC Controls maintenance activities.
