The position also requires packing, shipping, delivery and set up of events throughout the campus within strict deadlines and timetables.  Pick-up, organization and storage of supplies and food from completed functions.  Monitors operations for inventory and quality control and FIFO.

The Janitor is responsible for all phases of cleaning within the University.  Work sites will vary but do include dormitories, athletic buildings, lab/research areas, academic buildings and office areas.  Typical tasks will include dusting, mopping the floor, cleaning restrooms, replenishing bathroom supplies, trash removal, vacuuming and extracting carpets, stripping and refinishing of floors, changing light bulbs, and setting up chairs and tables for special events/meetings.  This position routinely interacts with members of the campus community and serves a vital role in providing excellent service to the occupants of the University buildings in which they work.

Princeton University’s Office of Information Technology is seeking a Technology Specialist 1 to join its Hardware Support team.  As a member of Hardware Support, the technology specialist applies basic hardware and software skills and knowledge to provide a variety of hardware support services.  The technology specialist also partners with Software Support colleagues to resolve computing issues presented by students, faculty and staff, as well as works on special projects that may require overtime work.     Serving a community of nearly 8,000 students and more than 6,600 employees and a growing campus, the working environment in Hardware Support is busy and fast-paced.  A successful candidate is able to multi-task and possesses effective communication skills.

The Control Systems Operator will report directly to the Campus Energy Manager in the Facilities Department. The primary responsibilities of this position are to operate, maintain and optimize building energy management systems. The operator will be expected to be fluent in several (Siemens and ALC) control systems and be able to react to information provided by the central plants energy management advisory software (Icetec.) Fluency in a control system means the ability to perform all operations and maintenance functions listed below as well as the ability to modify or write programs. The normal work schedule will be 9am to 6pm Monday through Friday. In addition, there will be required on call requirements, normally every third week and the designation of “critical employee” which requires key University employee to report to work during weather emergencies.

The Site Protection Department is a member of the Princeton University Facilities Organization. Our area of responsibility is to maintain, repair, test and inspect all Life Safety Systems on campus. Reporting to the Site Protection Shop Supervisor. The Site Protection Mechanic will work on a 24 hour/7 day work schedule consisting of various shift times, providing around-the-clock campus-wide, initial responder service for emergency, urgent, and routine events related to life safety, access control and security systems. The position will also be the initial responder, providing multi-trades support, to a wide range of campus events during the shift.
